I am excited for Fall. Can you tell?
The amount of drawing and animating I have done by the end of August is insane. I don't think I have ever sketched my heart out this much in such a short span of time.
Fall is my favorite time of year. If you know me literally at all, you know fall is my time to shine.
Why is fall so cool? It's not because of PSLs from Starbucks, because unfortunately, I am allergic to milk proteins. Although, I did recently find a great Starbucks-branded oat milk pumpkin spice creamer. Highly recommend.
I love fall for many, many, many, many reasons.

My birthday is in October. When I was little, all my birthday parties involved camping, hayrides, and costume parties.
Universal Halloween Horror Nights. My bestie and I go every year.
The vibes are the best. Cider, soups, chilly evenings, horror and thriller novels, Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic movie nights, hayrides, apple picking, haunted houses... It just feels like such a magical time of year.
I recently took a pattern illustration class with Patata School. Through that class, I have been making patterns all about Halloween and fall, which has been SO much fun.
And honestly, what better excuse is there to draw pumpkins, spooky little creatures, fall foliage, and all the cozy things I love?
